Arthroscopic Hip Repairs - Medical Illustration, Human Anatomy Drawing
This stock medical exhibit begins with two pre-operative image of the right hip. The first is a lateral view showing the bone lesion on the femoral neck. The second is also a lateral view, but with the femur removed from the joint allowing the tear of the labrum and injury to the femoral head to be seen. The next three images describe the repair surgery, including the insertion of arthroscopic instruments into the hip joint, debridement of the labrum and the femoral head, and removal of the femoral lesion. The final image is an anterior skeletal close-up view of the right hip joint showing the post-operative condition.
