Posterior Lumbar Interbody Fusion with Persistent Back Pain - Medical Illustration, Human Anatomy Drawing
Surgical repair is elected for the L3-4 level. Laminectomy, medial facetectomies and foraminotomies are performed at this level posteriorly to decompress the nerves. Discectomy is then performed, implants taped into the interspace and hardware is placed at L3 and L4.
