Rupture of Cerebral Arteriovenous Malformation (AVM) - Medical Illustration, Human Anatomy Drawing
This exhibit will feature four images of the brain and cerebral vasculature comparing the following conditions: Normal anatomy with correct structure of the various cerebral vessels, Pre-existing condition with cerebral AVM, Subsequent condition with complete rupture of the AVM spilling blood into the surrounding region. Also, the regions of the brain tissue distal to this AVM are shown dark and dusky symbolizing the tissue death caused by this sudden devascularization.
