Left Elbow Fracture with Surgical Fixation - Medical Illustration, Human Anatomy Drawing
There is a vertical oriented, coronal fracture to the base of the capitellum. The fracture is initially fixated using 3 Acutrak mini compression screws. Avascular bone necrosis develops and painful hardware, so the hardware is removed, debridement is performed of the necrotic area, DPM bone graft is placed, and two new bioabsorbable screws are placed. Cysts develop in the capitellum and OATS grafts are plugged into the defects.
