Ovarian Cyst - Laparoscopic Surgery. This full color custom medical exhibit depicts the laparoscopic procedure performed to remove a cyst from the right ovary. The surgery starts with the insertion o trocars into the female abdomen. Three sagittal views follow showing biopsy of peritoneal tissue, laser ablation to gain access to the right ovary and removal of the ovarian cyst. This particular surgery shows that a defect is created in the rectal wall in the process of gaining access to the ovary.
